A New Look for OOM-A-GOG Lives!
If the site looks a little different today, that's on purpose. We've given OOM-A-GOG Lives! a full redesign, top to bottom — same robot, same story, but a sharper, more fitting look to go with it.
Beyond the new coat of paint, we've spent real time going back through the History section line by line, cross-checking it against old newspaper clippings, station histories, and firsthand interviews we'd tracked down along the way. A few details got corrected, a few gaps got filled in — including a clearer picture of who was actually inside the suit across the years, and a fuller accounting of both Rev. Billy James Hargis and Billy Hargis II's lives outside of OOM entirely.
We also went back and reconnected a few blog posts whose links had gotten lost along the way — Finding OOM, our social media announcement, and a look at how we do this kind of research are all back up and working now if you missed them the first time around.
